On the occasion of its 85th anniversary, the five-star Majestic Saigon Hotel under Saigontourist is running new gastronomic events and attractive promotion programs.

The Majestic’s 85th birthday will be held on July 16. On this occasion, Cyclo Restaurant on the ground floor will be inaugurated at 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. on the same day. Diners can enjoy unique tastes of Vietnamese dishes at the price of VND25,000++/dish and VND228,000++/course of six dishes/diner, including tea and coffee.

Cyclo Restaurant hopes to bring a variety of the specialties of the north, the central region and the south, such as lotus root, shrimp and pork salad, banana flower and chicken salad, grilled chicken with lemon leaves, grilled beef and steamed rice vermicelli, snakehead fish simmered in clay pot, corchorus olitorius sour soup and pickled eggplant, bitter melon soup with fish paste and tasty dishes prepared from seafood, and desserts with various types of sweet soups and fresh fruit.

Diners to Cyclo Restaurant not only taste delicious dishes but also listen to traditional Vietnamese music. Guests will feel pleased when having a meal in the cozy atmosphere of a unique Asian family. Especially, guests are offered 10% discounts in the first opening month and a VND100,000 voucher for each receipt of VND1 million or more in the second month.

In addition, to mark the French National Day, the Majestic introduces “French Gastronomic Week” from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. from July 14 to 18 at Serenade Restaurant on the seventh floor of the hotel. In the romantic and cozy atmosphere with French everlasting melodies, guests will enjoy French delicacies. Each diner is treated with a menu of four dishes and a glass of wine. Package wedding parties are discounted and priced at VND3,650,000++/table of 10 persons. The program is valid until September 30. Beverages are free during the party, including Tiger Beer, Pepsi and mineral water, except weekends. Booking 31 tables or more will enjoy a sample table for 10 persons, excluding beverages.

In this summer, the Majestic offers many room promotional programs. Weekend package promotions (on Friday, Saturday and Sunday) are applicable until October 15. The Colonial Saigon River Deluxe is priced at US$415++/single room/three nights and US$425++/double room/three nights, including buffet breakfast, pick-up and drop-off at the airport, city tour on Sunday, free wireless and other promotional services. The Colonial Pool Deluxe is priced at US$158++/room. A three-night stay will enjoy a 10% discount. A four-night stay will get a 15% discount. A five-night stay is offered one night free.
