Ly Son island welcomes 6,000 visitors

Ly Son island in the central province of Quang Ngai welcomed more than 6,000 visitors since the beginning of this year, receiving 200 to 350 tourists a day.

The district’s passenger transport co-operative is providing four boat trips to the island each day to cope with the increasing number of visitors.

Visitors to Ly Son island will discover historic sites and beautiful natural features such as the Hoang Sa Bac Hai flotilla memorial and exhibition house, the shrine to the fallen Hoang Sa militia, the An Vinh and An Hai village communal houses, Thoi Loi mountain, Ly Son lighthouse, the Hang and Duc pagodas and Cau cave.
