This trip will take you into the countryside of Northern Vietnam, where is very little traffic. From the winding roads on the hillside there some excellent views over the rice paddy field below. You will have time to explore daily life among the villages and communities of the Red Dao and Black Hmong minority groups.

You will commence the trip from Sapa going uphill to the Silver Waterfall. From here you will cycle up to Heavens Gate, the highest stretch of road in Vietnam. Here you will experience the stunning views across the valley. You will then travel by bicycle downhill to the Black Hmong village of Chu Va, where you can enjoy a swim in the river, while your cook is preparing lunch. It is also possible to walk around in the village and explore the local way of living.

This tour takes you through the Sapa valley with its amazing scenery of mountains and rice paddy fields as far as the eye can see. You will start from Sapa by cycling along the newly built dirt road, which will bring you to the Black Hmong village of Su Pan. After a short break here, you will pass through the Black Hmong village to the Tay ethnic minority village of Thanh Phu. While your cook is preparing a delicious lunch, you will have time to explore the village and soon you will find out that things are not done in the way you are used to know

You will start out from Sapa by cycling the 16 kilometers uphill to the Vietnam highest pass of Tram Ton, at 2000 meters above sea level. From here it is downhill for around 26 kilometers on the road described as the most beautiful one in Vietnam with breathtaking scenery all the way to Binh Lu....

This 3-day mountain bike trip takes you through beautiful countryside and intriguing villages. You will have the opportunity to observe the local minority communities at work, tending their fields in the shadow of the Chay river massif. The overnight stays in Bac Ha will give you the chance to explore the villages and visit the local market. From Bac Ha you can also visit the Can Cau market, crossing the Chay River by boat to the Bao Nhai village, where a variety of local minority groups can be found.
